Grow 6 Inches of Healthy Hair Every Year
Every woman wants longer healthier hair and today I am going to tell you how you can GROW 6 INCHES OF HEALTHY HAIR EVERY YEAR.
That’s right, 6 inches of healthy hair every year!
You don’t need to run out and buy a thousand new products, you don’t need to have a cosmetology license, you don’t even need to know how to put your own hair in a ponytail.
All you need to do is follow these 5 easy steps.
What's the best way to grow natural hair?
CONSISTENCY!
Step 1: Detangle Your Hair
How would you ever know if your hair is growing if the hair you already have is continuously breaking off?
This is why detangling your hair is one of the most important components of growing longer healthier hair. Detangling your hair prior to washing it ensures that your hair won’t break off during the washing process. Follow these steps to properly detangle your hair:
• Mix water and conditioner in a spray bottle
• Part your hair into 4 sections with a Wide Tooth Comb
• Saturate each section 1 by 1 and begin to massage the solution in from the roots to the ends of your hair
• Massage each section of your hair pulling the ends of the hair down to help the knots unravel
• Finger detangle as much as you can
• Follow up with a wide-toothed comb or Wet Brush
• Continue until you finish all four sections
• Plat or double strand twist each detangled section
Step 2: Wash Your Hair
Now that your hair is properly detangled let’s start the washing processing. Most people think that washing their hair means that they’ll apply shampoo and conditioner to their hair. WRONG!
Washing your hair means you only clean your hair with shampoo, stripping all of the buildup products, oil, and dirt from your hair. This process leaves your hair dry. DON’T PANIC, your hair feeling completely dry means that’s it’s completely clean. Follow these steps to properly detangle your hair:
• At this point, your hair should already be separated into 4 sections in either a plat or double strand twist.
• Apply shampoo to each of the 4 sections separated. You can either unravel your hair or shampoo it with the braids or twists still in place.
• Complete each section individually then rinse thoroughly.
Hair Care Tip: Use a Clarifying Shampoo if you use heavy products. If you don’t use products in your hair, then use a Non-Sulfate Shampoo to gently clean your hair.
Step 3: Deep Condition Your Hair
Because washing your hair opens the cuticles to allow product buildup, dirt, and oil to be removed conditioning the hair is very important after washing, especially if you have unrelaxed natural hair.
The conditioner is designed to moisturize your hair, increase your hairs elasticity, and smooth down your cuticles. The elasticity and moisture decrease the chance of hair breakage from styling and braiding. Deep conditioning process should take no more than 30 minutes. The product should only be applied to the hair shaft and not the scalp. Follow these steps to properly deep condition your hair:
• Continue with four sections
• Apply conditioner to the hair only
• Saturated and massage each section
• detangle if needed
• Use a Plastic cap to trap the heat from your scalp
Hair Care Tip: To add nutrients to your hair apply Growth Oil, Hair food, or Teas only to your scalp.
Step 4: Moisturize your hair
Water should always be first before you apply any products to your hair. Water helps keep your hair soft and allow the products to penetrate. Without water, the product only sits on top of your hair like a paste. YUCK!
Oils, butter, and creams are designed to lock in moisture which is why the moisturize & seal or Liquid Oil Cream(L.O.C.) The method is very popular on YouTube. Follow this steps to properly moisturize your hair:
• Continue with four sections
• Use products separately
• Apply Water to hair only
• Apply Oil to scalp & hair
• Apply Cream or Hair Butters to hair only
• Saturated and massage each section
Step 5: Style Your Hair in A Protective Style until Next Wash
See how easy that was? Like a plant,π± your hair needs water, light, sun, & nutrients to help it grow to its fullest potential. The secret to growing 6 inches of Healthier Hair every year isn’t anything special, it’s simply consistently following these 5 easy steps:
1. Detangle Your Hair
2. Wash Your Hair
3. Deep Condition Your Hair
4. Moisturize your hair
5. Style Your Hair in A Protective Style until Next Wash
Providing your hair with what it needs on a consistent basis is the only effective way to get your desired results.
